The Green Martians appeared in the crossover comic The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Volume II as part of a coalition of Martian species (the others being the Hither People and the Sorns) led by John Carter and Gullivar Jones to fight a species called the Molluscs - who had invaded Mars some years earlier - and to drive them off Mars. Regarding their social heirachy, the Green Martians are formed into communal and constantly warring tribes each governed by a number of chiefs - the highest been a Jeddak. They enjoy torturing others, don't form families, have no concept of private property and have little concept of friendship or love. In terms of their culture and personality, the Green Martians are warlike, barbaric and nomadic. The Males are 15 feet tall while the females are 12 feet tall, with the Green Martians notably having four arms and with eyes on the side of their head.
